The Franco-Lebanese Association for Education and Culture (in French “L’Association Franco-Libanaise pour l’Éducation et la Culture – AFLEC) exists since 2000 as an official French non for profit association. It is dedicated to the promotion of Francophonie in the fields of education and culture.
AFLEC aims at co-educating multilingual citizens, easily navigating between various and evolutive cultures, in international environments. Its values are based on the French “laïcité”, on tolerance, openmindedness, ethics and humanism.
GEE (for “Group of Elite Establishments”) is AFLEC’s operator: it manages the schools in administration and financial affairs. A joint steering committee AFLEC-GEE embodies the cohesiveness of AFLEC-GEE: pedagogy and school management work hand in hand.
The French Bilingual International School-Malta is our 8th French school: it joins a dynamic network established in Lebanon, in the UAE and in Tunisia. All of our schools are accredited by the French Ministry of Education and by the national authorities of each host country. They all bring proudly our motto to life: “Three Languages, three cultures”.
Here, these three languages and cultures are French, English and Maltese.

Opening of a temporary annex of Lycée Français International Théodore Monod in Al Ain (Abu Dhabi Emirate, UAE)

Extension of Lycée Français International AFLEC in Dubai.

Opening of Secondary in Lycée Français International Théodore Monod Abu Dhabi and of Primary in the French Bilingual School ICE in Dubai.
