Dear parents,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the French Bilingual International School – Malta: it will open its doors to you in September 2025 for its first scholastic year. We are delighted to contribute to the education landscape of this beautiful country. Here, future citizens and to train citizens who will be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century.

Our pedagogy is student-centred, encouraging intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and creativity. As a result, our students acquire skills and knowledge relevant to the local and global context, preparing them to become upright, responsible and fulfilled citizens of the world.

My mission is to combine the best of the French model with that of other education systems: the quality, ambition and effectiveness of our programme and method mean that our pupils not only learn new languages, they learn with them.

We are fortunate not to be alone in meeting this challenge: we are part of the Association Franco Libanaise pour l’Education et la Culture (AFLEC) network and work in close collaboration with the Lycée Français Bilingue International ICE in Dubai: this institution, which has created a unique and ambitious educational project with the Jeannine Manuel schools, shares its expertise with us.

With the bilingualism guaranteed by our programme, and learning for all of the language and culture of our host country, we are training enlightened citizens who are ready to contribute to our societies in the 21st century. We are committed to developing their thirst for knowledge and their taste for experimentation, so that they acquire the knowledge and skills they will need throughout their lives. Our students will also learn to use their critical thinking skills, to collaborate with peers from all backgrounds and to grasp and understand digital tools, so that they are ready to master tomorrow’s innovations.

None of this can happen without a welcoming and caring environment where all members of our community – students, families and teachers – are heard and respected. Social and emotional learning are an integral part of our curriculum, and our commitment to well-being at school ensures that everyone feels safe and secure. Together, we thrive!
